1 Biomaterial and Biomedicine
Biomaterial and Biomedicine is an open access, peer reviewed online journal publishing the original research articles, letters, reviews and new technical methodologies in all aspects of biomaterial and biomedicine.

Biomaterials are a class of high-tech materials used for the diagnosis, repair or enhance its function of human tissues and organs. The journal is a laboratory oriented journal devoted to illuminating Biomaterial and Biomedicine involved a wide range of biological, physical, chemical sciences and the clinical disciplines. Topics include biomaterials covering blood-compatibility materials, such as artificial valves, artificial heart etc.; soft tissue compatibility materials (contact lenses sheet of polymer material); biodegradable materials (chitin, polylactic acid); macromolecular drug polypeptide (insulin, and synthetic vaccine) and other materials; as well as the biology of the host response, immunology and toxicology and self assembly at the nanoscale. Biomedicine especially its clinical applications contain the current findings in biological compatibility/incompatibility of biomaterials, the therapies of medical technology and regenerative medicine, the biomaterials applications in all biomedicine experiments.

2 Aims and Scope
Biomaterial and Biomedicine is committed to publishing and disseminating all the latest and outstanding research articles, letters and reviews in all areas of Biomaterial and Biomedicine and its relative science research.

All papers chosen for publications should be creative reviews, innovative research work, short communications, and case reports on all aspects of Biomaterial and Biomedicine and its relative science research, including biomaterials covering blood-compatibility materials, such as artificial valves, artificial heart etc.; soft tissue compatibility materials (contact lenses sheet of polymer material); biodegradable materials (chitin, polylactic acid); macromolecular drug polypeptide (insulin, and synthetic vaccine) and other materials; as well as the biology of the host response, immunology and toxicology and self assembly at the nanoscale.

3 Publication Mode
We are following the Open Access publishing model. All papers published in this journal are licensed to all users under the terms of Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 License, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any media, provided the original work is properly cited (see BioPublisher Open Access Policy).

Manuscripts can be submitted by BioPublisher online Manuscripts Handling System, or send your manuscript directly to the submission email of Biomaterial and Biomedicine: edit@bb.biopublisher.ca. For details please see Instructions for Authors.

4 Publication and Peer-review Process
4.1 Similarity check
All submissions must be subjected to CrossRef's plagiarism check by CrossCheck. Only those with no similarity compared in the CrossCheck database can be proceeded for peer review. Plagiarism check in this journal is solely for the purpose of submission's language arts and does not imply any plagiarism or forging existed.

4.2 Peer-review
Scientists all over the world are invited to serve as peer reviewer in this journal. All submission will be automatically transferred online to the reviewers by Manuscript Handling System in the BioPublisher prior to CrossRef's plagiarism check by CrossCheck.

5 Online Publication
There are much more advantages for online publishing, including:
** Peer review quickly and professionally
** Anti-Plagiarism by CrossCheck
** Publish on line immediately upon acceptance
** Deposit permanently and track easily
** Open Access under Creative Common licenses
** Disseminate multilingual possible

6 Indexing and Archiving
All articles published in Biomaterial and Biomedicine will be archived in Library and Archive Canada and deposited in CrossRef with the DOI (Digital Object Identifier) identity.

7 Publication Period
Biomaterial and Biomedicine promises to offer much faster publication schedules. Normally it takes four to six weeks depending on the speed of peer review. Using the recommended manuscript preparation formats will largely speed up the paper procedures and shorten the periods. Research articles will be published electronically in provisional PDF immediately upon acceptance. A fully HTML web version and PDF download version will be available within four weeks after acceptance.

8 Citing articles in Biomaterial and Biomedicine
Articles in this journal should be recommended to follow regular citation rules. There is an exception for unique article series and DOI instead of the page number.
